Loki Halwa or Bottle gourd halwa
Loki / Bottle gourd Halwa is as good as carrot halwa and tastes great!!
It is very easy to prepare and high in nutrition.
Ingredients
1 big bowl grated Bottle gourd or Loki
1 liter Milk
1/2 cup sugar
A pinch of cardamom powder
Dry fruits for garnishing (cashew, almond, pistachio)

Steps to prepare :-
- First, peel the Loki and grate it.
- Then hit the pan or kadai and add ghee.
- Add the grated Loki in the pan and fry it on high flame in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Cook it on high flame till the loki is fried and then add milk and stir it till it boils and then cook it on low flame.
- Keep stirring till milk reduces and gets think consistency like khoya.
- Then add sugar, sugar will melt so keep stirring.
- When water reduces and halwa get desired consistency then add cardamom powder and dry fruits as per your desire.
Your Loki Halwa is ready to eat, serve it hot :)
