Sambhar Masala

Sambhar Masala

Preparing sambhar masala at home is very easy. It enhances the taste of sambhar and gives good aroma.


  • Ingredients
  • Gram lentil (channa dal)
  • Split black gram (urad dal)
  • Pigeon pea lentil (toor dal)
  • fenugreek seeds (methi)
  • Mustard seeds (rai)
  • Black pepper
  • Cumin seeds (jeera)
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander seeds
  • Red chili
  • Asafoetida
  • Grated coconut


Roast all ingredient  on low flame. Keep stirring on the time of roasting

Fenugreek




After roasting all ingredients, let them cool down for sometime.


After cooling, you can mix all ingredient and grind well.

 Store in air tight container and use whenever you require.





You can freeze it as well for longer freshness up to six months.
